I usually listen to music while reading. As I just finished the chapter in 'FIRE & BLOOD' called A Time of Testing, and things couldn't be going better for Jaehaerys I, the Game of Thrones soundtrack playing on my headphones has reached the Targaryen theme music, and it's the part where Daenaerys is flying on Drogon and comes up from behind a hill. I've never studied music, but have delved in aesthetics and critique in uni, and the word that comes to mind is "glorious". It doesn't happen often where I have a deeply emotional experience like that while reading. Alas, here I am a sobbing grown man.
By the way, if you haven't tried reading while immersing into related music, I really do recommend it. I know a lot of people prefer silence, but as someone with ADHD it helps my sporadic attention span to emotionally engage with the text, and it just adds that much more of an artistic dimension to the experience.
