This is something that I noticed when watching the episode that changed my whole perspective on the show. Just after Jimmy and Mike finish their conversation in the car about how Jimmy feels. In the shot where Mike drives away, in the backgroud appear two skaters. And it made me think that it was a throwback, to the first episode.
When Jimmy pulls the first scam we see him make is when he hires the two skaters to try and get the Kettleman's case. At the time, he just thought it would be a harmless thing, nobody actually getting hurt. He wasn´t only wrong on that. It's becasue of that bad choice that he met Nacho, and that was the cause for Lalo eventually hireing him. Most of the bad road that Jimmy paved for himself started on the very beigninnig and the show remind's us of that by placing those two skater's there, at the moment Jimmy sort of realizes that his choices got him where he is now.
