AMC had to know that Andrew Lincoln wanted to leave the show before Season 8 so why kill off Carl then? Sure Chandler may not be the best actor on the show but he was still decent and getting better! I think I could accept this more if Rick could pass the torch to his son in a way. Plus it would give Carl the screentime he deserved. Daryl Gruntsworth gets enough screentime as it is.
So the question is, why would AMC fire Carl if Andy Lincoln was gonna lead?? It just doesn't make sense to me. I have a feeling that a few years after this show ends, a lot of things that went on behind the scenes are gonna be revealed to us. What do you guys think? This whole situation seems off to me for some reason.
TL;DR: If AMC knew Andy Lincoln wanted off, why kill Carl?
