While walking through the park today, I realized how amazing a park location would be for a survivor community! Tents/Housing, crafting, cooking, and all other community activities could safely take place on the basketball/tennis courts (they already have fences around them). Farming could take place in the outfields of the baseball fields (also, already fenced). The baseball fields usually have elevated areas for announcers/scoreboard which would work well as lookout points. The outer perimeter could have some sort of noise generator to draw out any walkers (or if somehow there was a pitching machine nearby, the sound could draw them in and they would be swiftly annihilated).
Just wanted to share! Would love to hear other community ideas as well!
