Discussion: Santa Clarita Diet may be lacking in some areas but has some of the best dialogue writing I have ever seen on Television but...

I have fallen in love with this show for its really good writing and execution of said writing with the actors' direction. I don't know what it is but I find the writing and acting really fucking funny and I think the show is just really fun although I do think there are some moments where the acting loses its momentum and makes me forget about the suspension of disbelief so it could definitely be better and also could be much better with the visual direction of the cinematography. I'm no expert on any of this obviously I just feel like a show with this much good writing could have taken advantage of of some funny visual comedy. I wanted to know what is the general opinion of the show. I feel like it's really good but also bad at some places at the same time. Thoughts?
