They were heralded as the bane of existence. The absolute finishing of man. They made the series to believe they were the absolute climax of the show. I thought they would be the main attraction because they were made to be JUST THAT with the accumulation of the series. Yet, they came, they saw, then were swiftly conquered in a couple episodes. Destroyed by a little girl at their start. What the fuck. I was waiting for this moment for so long only to be let down at the shallowness of the final season. There is no satisfaction whatsoever. I wish I could ask HBO for my money back.

[No Spoilers] Game of Thrones as a Television Series

Game of Thrones is quite interesting to me because I think that even though the directing and the cinematography has flaws as all aspects will & the story adaptations and various on camera improvisations all aren't perfect, that if you put all 73 parts (ep.) together and look at them from a macro view and/or even inspect all of them individually, I still believe it is the best television series I've seen as whole. I think they couldn't do the whole thing perfect & damn is that a colossal task to undertake but the whole crew and when it comes to what we reflect on especially -- Benioff & Weiss both tried their best I believe with the 8 seasons that they contributed to. From the beginning to the end, I believe it's a journey I'm always happier having gone on than not and that GoT is a masterpiece of cinema.

[SPOILERS] Most unsatisfying character arcs by S8 end?

Cersei having no meaningful interaction with anyone but Jaime in the final episode just leaves her arc feeling hollow and unsatisfying at the end (not to mention dying in each other’s arms — come the fuck on). no Daenerys or Jon confrontation.

Meera never being mentioned or thought of by Bran when she’s a big reason for his survival.

Grey Worm… not caring about Daenerys’s murder? and Daenerys’s arc, well, goes without saying.

I’d have to give a fuck about Arya or Sansa at the end to care about their arc, but sadly these characters became Sand Snake level bad in S7 and S8.

[SPOILERS]

Loved the show even loved the last season but i had some big problems. For one. The night king got treated like a jobber. all that build for years just to get stabbed once and that be it? Secondly like a lot of shows they seem (imo) to always give the male hero a sloppy ending. (Stefan TVD, Bellamy the 100, Jon GOT) I feel like the ending did snows journey a bit lazy. I’m ok with him being at the wall but it really doesn’t make sense given winter is over and pretty much all the crows died. Like who’s going to enforce him staying on the watch or following the rules now that his brother his king and his sister is queen of the north? Him exploring with the free folk is good i guess as they kinda built to that’s where he’s meant to be but I feel a flash forward to Jon restructuring the watch woulda been cool. Am i missing something? Like the dead are gone and the free folk are allie’s so what’s the point of being on the wall? Idk i just feel Jons ending being fleshed out a bit more woulda been good. Like god of light bringing him back to life just so he can kill the queen and be a prisoner of the wall forever?

Sometimes these groups make no sense

People will join or create a group that attacks to kill on sight, and then get mad when their people wind up dead? I'm thinking of the Whisperers and the Reapers specifically here. It just seems pretty illogical. I can get behind most everything else in the show, just not groups like these being surprised and angry when their people wind up dead. Why would you aim to kill strangers on sight and then get mad when they fight back and you lose? Makes no sense.

[SPOILERS] Game of Thrones light hearted opposite story

Game of Thrones is a really nice childrens tale of how all the nice people in a nice fantasy land all had a nice time and were really great to each other all the time.

Once upon a time there was a really nice Winter Castle and some really nice people came to visit. They had a dwarf with them but he only liked sex with women and never did anything important in the story. They called him a demon monkey and rightly so. He killed his mom on the way out of being born so he deserved to be mocked and scorned all the time.

The brother and sister visitors were really nice people...so nice in fact that they always made each other feel really good because thats what nice people do. A mean little boy was going to make them sound like bad people for having a nice time together, and so the brother man stopped him from tattling on them. No one likes a tattle tale and the brother and sister were just having fun anyways, so the mean boy was going to spoil their fun. But he can't walk now so its ok.

There was also a really dumb dragon lady. She was so dumb she walked into fire! And then she had some babies but the babies were dragons! And we all know that dragons are bad.

There was also a really great guy named Ramsay. He was an excellent host, and kept his new friend company all the time. He introduced him to some very fun games, but the guest didn't like the games and was really loud and whiny all the time. Nobody likes a spoil sport.

One time, a prince had a really nice party where everyone was invited. They all had lots of fun until someone had to ruin it by poisoning him. No one was grateful to their generous prince. He even cut the cake and left a nice bird present inside. He also cut a stupid book that no one liked anyways. He did some lots of nice things before that so it didnt make sense that anyone wanted him dead. He was really nice to all the ladies he knew and very respectful. He even killed a traitor that no one liked. Good thing too, that guy was going all over town ruining the royal family's fun times they were having. He was going to tattle on their secrets and ruin everyone's fun times, and then who would throw the fun parties?? Not that guy. He was super serious all the time and even cut off a boy's head just because he went jogging or something.

One time there was a mean snake man who came to kill the best knight in the kingdom. The knight was so good and killed all the enemies for them. He killed the snake man's family because they were evil and were snake people too. He had some fun with the snake lady wife but then said just kidding you suck and killed her too because she was a snake lady. Its a good thing this guy was around, or else nobody would get punished.

[Spoilers] Misunderstood parts of the series

What is something misunderstood by the fandom...

I'll go first... Theon never betrayed the Starks. They were literally his captors, yes they raised him but they would have just as easily gutted him if his father rebelled. That was the entire point of him being there... It was the dark reality that I think should have been focused on more...

He, like all people, are trained and raised to honor his family... but he loved the Starks. It wasn't that dissimilar to Stockholm syndrome to be honest... I think anyone in Theon's position would have been hard pressed to make a good choice.

Honestly, while Book Theon is a sociopath, tv Theon is a genuinely sympathetic character who deserved way better than he got...

What is the character that you think is misunderstood, or maybe a fact? Could be anything...

My friend and I were discussing people who’ve been successful on TV, and I honestly don’t know anyone who’s had as much success (Not necessarily accolades, but longevity, public recognition, etc.) as Ted?

Cheers, Becker, Damages, Bored to Death, CSI & CSI: Cyber, Fargo (Season 2), The Good Place and now Mr. Mayor (which appears to be on track to for a third-season renewal).

That’s not including any one-offs he’s had or Season 1 cancellations, nor does it include his 30 episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

He basically been a household name for 40 years now because of his TV work.

I’m not as well versed in the older TV stars (pre-80s), but to my knowledge, I can’t think of anyone who’s come close.

I always figured that "littlefinger" was a weird sexual ioke at Petyr's expense, like he had a tiny...finger....and that knowledge spread from girl to girl to man until it eventually became his nickname that stuck.

Also G.R.R.M has said multiple times "you have to remember that Joffrey is only 13 in the book" and I always thought it was a poor excuse until I said it to my dad and he looked at me and said "dude it was like lord of the flies when you were 13" and it hit me, even with good parenting, and no inbred genetics, myself and most 13 year old boys were evil little shits when we knew there was no authority figure around, imagine having zero restraints put on you, no real fathering, a mom who spoils you rotten, and being allowed to do ANYTHING you want. I am rewatching GoT and I just discovered the trading cards by Rittenhouse. Is there a strong community of collectors whatsoever? If so how and where can I connect with them?

I am interested in these cards but for the resell price if I can’t connect with others and enjoy the experience besides unending and opening it’s just not worth it to me. The Season 1 finale of Severance may be one of the best episodes of television of all time.

What a tense, rewarding, well-paced, theory-confirming, plot-expanding, jaw-on-the-floor, screaming-at-your-screen thrill ride of an episode to watch. I am floored. The audience didn’t get answers to all of this season’s questions, but we didn’t need them after everything this finale delivered—it was a near-perfect balance of closure/confirmation and mystery. I haven’t been this invested in a show in a while.

And to all you smug mothafuckas saying all of these posts about the show are paid for by Apple, this one isn’t. This show is that good. It’s even better if you don’t binge it. Gonna go rewatch this episode 4 more times.

My 70 year old mom, watching for the first time. Part 2.

I’m tired today. We watched until almost 1am this morning. There were a lot of episodes and she had a lot of different emotions. Bear with me I’ll do the best I can.

We are at the part where Rick, Glenn & Hershel bring Randell back to the farm. So I’ll back up a bit.

Amy’s death, mom was more grossed out than anything. She’s still getting used to the gore and looks away often. She was sad Andrea didn’t get to give the locket to Amy while still alive. Mom really wanted Jim to be put down or thrown out of the RV, him being bit and inevitably turning had her very concerned. Every time anyone would get near him, she’d yell for them to get away and call them stupid. She mumbled under her breath a lot during this episode.

Fast forward to CDC, mom was relieved they were safe but because what my mom did for a living she called it early. “ I bet that the cdc is going to be destroyed.” This was while they were drinking and eating, toasting Jennings.

After Shane attacked Lori in the game room, “ that’s it, he’s a creep! Ew, he’s awful, take a hint buddy!”

She disagreed with Jennings locking them in. She understood Jackie and Andrea wanting to stay. She surprised me by saying she’d want to try and go back out to rebuild. Always figured my mom would opt out. 🤷‍♀️

She’s torn if Dale did the right thing. Still wants to trim his eyebrows.

Interstate; mom is starting to suspect that parenting skills are not up to par for a zombie apocalypse. She’s pretty upset that the kids seem to be able to wander off by themselves.

Sophia situation, mom is mad that she left her hiding hole so soon. Called her a dumb brat but positive Rick will find and save her.

Carl shot; for one mom didn’t understand taking him into the woods to search for Sophia. She’s seriously starting to question parenting abilities!

After Carl was shot and that episode was over, mom was positive it was Merle that shot him. She is pretty damn sure he’ll show back up. She’s not worried about Carl, it’s not like a show is going to kill kids.😬

Mom is happy Shane is leaving. She’s starting to not like Andrea much but trying to cut her slack since she lost Amy.

Farm; oh boy! So much happens I’m going to try to condense this down. Carl, she’s seriously not worried. There was a brief moment before the seizure that she was worried that they would indeed kill a kid. After she doubled up on knowing at least the kids are safe.

She’s starting to warm up to Daryl, she digs how he doesn’t give up on searching for Sophia. She’s also getting pulled into the idea of Daryl and Carol, she’s sure that’s where it’s going.

Otis being murdered just concretely put Shane into asshole category. He ain’t getting out.

I could hear my moms eyes roll at Lori’s pregnancy. Right away she said it would be Shane’s. Moms starting to think Shane isn’t leaving. It’s very hard to keep my mouth shut, so far I’m good.

Mom thinks Rick is definitely the more level headed leader. She agrees with Shane as far as the barn and moving on goes. She’s pretty sure Sophia has been picked up by someone and will be missing until a later season.

Mom has fallen more in love with Glenn. She is digging Maggie. She finds their banter and back and forth comical. Mostly because Glenn keeps ending up with secrets he can’t keep and that makes her giggle.

Mom is disgusted with Shane’s looks and openly sighs in disgust when he walks out shaved headed and in Otis’s overalls.

Mom thinks something is very wrong with Hershel. Kind of thinks he might be evil. Not sure why outside of the barn full of walkers.

Sophia is dead and my mom is shook! They will definitely kill kids and this has deflated what my mom thought she knew about the show. Poor mom.

I’m sure I left out a ton and will try to answer any questions in the comments. It might be later though as I’m getting ready to go to moms to watch some more.

[spoilers] I feel bad for Joffrey. not a joke

Let me explain so in the books, Joffrey is 12. He is essentially a middle school with an abusive father and an overprotective narcissistic mother. Then take away the father suddenly and tragically whose approval Jeffrey always wanted but never got and then have his father's best friend in his eyes try to take his father's power for himself according to his narcissistic mother. Then make him king and proceed to throw him into a crisis where he has no one who is honestly in his corner to help him because they want to help him. Throw in the idea of him having to marry his father's best friend who tried to use herb his throne and you start to t see that maybe joffrey needed someone who had his best interests at heart truly and wasn't out only for themselves

It's depressing to think about, but joffrey has no one other than cersei who has mentioned above is very narcissistic and out of all the children at the start of the books he arguably has the worst childhood other than maybe his little brother and Daenerys

I know everyone's thinking it but I'm hand waving the incest since Daenerys is a widely loved character and she's more inbred than he is

[SPOILERS] Ending not what I expected

I thought Aegon Targaryen (Jon Snow) would walk away with the crown, especially after he slaughtered the queen and the Drago didn’t turn him to a crisp. Then Tyrion, who encouraged Jon to make a claim, and told him he had to decide now, doesn’t support Jon as a candidate for King when the council makes a vote. Wtf?? Then the 3 eyes raven says “why do you think I’ve come this far” as if the f’r outplayed them all. SMH. And Jon leaves with the wildlings, wouldn’t that make him a deserter, since he was condemned to serve at the Wall??

[SPOILERS] Real ending (fanfic) I made out of spite to recover from the last episodes

[SPOILERS] today I was looking at some notes on my phone and found this fanfic (replacing the last two episodes) of game of thrones I made some days after the “finale” to help me cope with the let down, hope it help someone else. Sorry for the misspells etc as English it’s not my first language:

They have the funerals as the original episode

Then they have the celebration, much more big than the show, khalessi make Gendry lord of stormlands and also look with sadness at the love John receive, she also feels alone

She summons Arya and she arrive, she congratulate her for saving the world and also everyone else, she call her champion of the living. Everybody cheer. Sansa hearing the battle stories realized Daenerys save them all (at a great cost to her and her people) with her dragons and her armies while she was hiding in the cripts. So she respect her now and acknowledge her as the queen

Celebration over and Danny and John are together as in the original episode but John swear to her that he loves her and won’t want the throne so he won’t tell anyone and then kiss her, they sleep together

Next day Everyone gathers and the decide the best course of action, they will wait some days to get the troops some rest now that the weather is warming since there is no more night king. And in that time they all together come with a plan to take the throne from Cersei (since she betray them they obviously dont try to argue with her in anyway) since she don’t help with the battle and Dany wanting the throne.

Days later As they are arguing the plans Arya take the word and say that Cersei is on her list, she said to them that they give her the chance to sneak and murder her without any bloodshed, John says there is no wey since she already save everyone. She said she had to complete the list and could help avoid any more northern deaths, khalessi say she agree but will launch a full attack at the same time unless she is sucesfull and all their troops surrender by the usual ringing of the bells once they know she is gone. She told Tyrion to tell Arya the secret way which he sneak from the red keep to Arya so she could get in.

So they make the plan and go accordingly to it

Jaimie hear the armies se moving against cersei so he go with them but upon hearing Arya is going to try to kill cersei he talk to Tyrion and tell him that he is going to try to talk cersei into leaving with him for good, and ring the bells so they could take the cities without killin anyone

The armies move and Arya is dispatch to her mission, the hound is waiting for her and told her if she need a companion, she tell him she has unfinish business and he tell her him too has unfinished business. They leave together a step ahead the armies

Then cersei and euron have built a bunch of scorpions and have all the golden company armies INSIDE THE GATES to make a stand as long as they could.

We see Arya and the hound sneaking throug the secret passage in the red keep. Arya disguise herself as one of the Maidens of the red keep and the hound follow her from distance

Then the scene with daeny coming in the sun light and euron trying to shoot her, she manuvers and meanwhile from one side a fleet impact euron as he was aiming at drogon head, moving the boat and making him miss, then rhaegon (fully recover) and yaras fleet torch the boats, Dany now free from the spears start to burn all the wall scorpions and remaining boats effectively destroying the boats

John and the armies are marching but couldn’t get inside the wall

Then a scorpion hit rhaegon and wound him badly, khalessi get angry and burn the walls and the remaining scorpion opening the way for John and the armies

They get in and star fighting the Lannister soldiers

Then cersei is with the mountain and qyburn watching the battle unfold and then Arya in disguise pour some wine for cersei as she secretly approach her to murder her, the mountain realized this and hit her with full force, she manage to protect herself but the mountain send her flying across the room and get knockout, then the hound shows up and step between them, they talk like in the original episode. Qyburn and cersei leave quietly. The fight between them start

Then cersei and qyburn leave to the throne room and she tells him that if everything is ready for the plan if they lost. He hand her a bottle of poison and tell her that everything is ready. Then Jaimie appear, they hugged and he tells her that they could run far away and that Tyrion will make sure they could run with their lives, cersei tell him that she don’t trust the imp and that if he have forgotten he kill their father, jaimie tell her that doesn’t matter now and that’s she could run with him, that the battle is already lost, she answers her that she would rather watch everything burn that give what’s her and their family to Daenerys (a younger more beautiful one) she then commands qyburn to ignite the Valerian fire that was hidden, he nods and start walking, jaimie says that he won’t allow it and proceed to kill qyburn in a alarm and sad way, then she said that she will give the command to any other soldier, he tells her that he won’t allow it, that he loves her and that they should just leave while they can, she creams to him that she will never do it and try to tell another soldier to carry her order she hold her and tells her that he don’t want to do it. She says to him “I don’t believe you” and she make a gesture as to scream to the soldiers in the next room. Then Jaimie stabs her in the chest with tears in his eyes. She start dying and he hold her gently they hold each other.

Meanwhile the hound is having a great battle with the mountain, as in the original episode the mountain is grabbing the hound skull like Oberyn, and suddenly a swift sword is heard and the head of the mountain fall, it was Arya. The hound collapses and make a joke, then tell her they need to leave now.

Then dainy it’s mad and waiting to hear the bells of surrender as there aren’t any more scorpions and the ground battle is deciding in her favor. She is waiting. Watching the soldiers on the ground also John and grey worm standing also waiting to hear the bells, the a Lannister soldier in this stand off let go of an arrow and hit John in the arm. Daenerys (not hearing any bells) flip out and start burning the town but then watch the red keep and go for it. Arya and the hound leave the red keep and see Daenerys going wild. They run to the bells and when they arrive the bells have been dismantle on the floor by cersei orders. They proceed to help the people as Arya did on the show.

The red keep is getting burnt down as in the show, varys is watching this from the rear camp and in sadnes begin writing the letters to all the lord informing of John claim to the throne (one of his spies hear the talk of John and samwell)

As the red keep falls jaime die while holding cersei. When the tower falls Daenerys see that’s the battle is over but the damage is done. She start crying as she see good part of king landing burned and the red keep in ruins. She fly with drogon and the wounded rhaegar.

The unsolid and the northerns take the city and take the surrending soldiers as prisoners without killing them

Tyrion as in the show look for jaimie and cersei and found them holding each other, he reacts as in the show

Also as in the show Daenerys shows up but with certain sadness in her look. She sees that John is ok and hug him. She then congratulate the soldiers in high Valerian and the in common tongue for winning the Wars, and keeping the promes made to drogo and the one they made her. She tells them that they save and free the world. The targaryan banner fell

Then she left and Tyrion see her crying as she walks

Then John follow her as in the show. In the throne room is the same, but drogon is already there also, she grabs the throne as in the show and tell john something similar, then she tell him that she always wanted the throne, to come home.

She start crying and John comforts her telling her that they didn’t surrender and that war is like that but that all that is over because now she can rule with justice and peace, she tell him that everything is ruin and that she can’t govern doing what she did. Then she Stand near the throne and tell john thath the throne was the end of her family and the ambition to get it change her and made her hurt innocent people, John stare at her and then she said descarys and drogon metl the throne as in the show. John look amuse at this. When this is over he tell her” what are you going to do now” she tells her what I always wanted, go home. John tells her that she should rule, she answers “I told you I can rule like this, here I have no love… only fear and thath is no true freedom for the people, she tell him that he should rule as he is the only one that the northerns will follow, and thath they never accept her and not even allow them to be together and a divided Kindom will suffer from endless wars. He said we won’t do it and that hr will go with her and that he love her. She say to him “you and me have a duty and duty is the death of love” (maybe Amon tell this targaryan saying wrong to John in purpose)

She get on drogon and leave

Next scene John, Tyrion and her are gather and she tells them she is going back to mereen, thath she is a liberator not a conqueror, she look at varys and tell him thath she knew he tell everyone about John, and that she promise to burn him alive but she will not since he didn’t fail the people (also there is no iron throne anymore) and forgive him, she said to him he should stay in Westeros with the soon to be king. She proceed to talk to the unsolid and dotraki again and tells them thath they going back home but those who wants to say are free to do so as they are no longer slaves of any kind, most dotraki and unsolid agree to leave with her but some decide to stay, Daenerys say goodbye to all and leave. As she is going rhaegar and drogon are there to, drogon fly away near the ships, but rhaegon (still wounded) stay near John khalessi call him but he just look at her, she smile and said, you are also not a slave, stay with him if you want (as he is now bonded with John and it’s name as his father) khalessi hold his head and leaves as drogon fly and the ships go away rhaegon cries

Khalessi is on the ships crying and sad, torco nudo walk to her ship chamber and tell her thath they arrive at mereen, she stands and walk in a sad way to the exterior deck, as she walks out she sees surprised thath all the people are cheering and throwing flowers at the ship. She smile as everyone start chanting Nissa. She look up and see all the mereen harpies are now golden dragons. She walk down the boat and in to the people the see Dario naharis smiling at her. He walks beside her with all the people chanting and happy. Dario tell her they found out she save the world of the living and thath she was coming back (maybe varys send the message) he ask her why she gave up the throne and she says that it was because all She ever wanted was to go back home and now she had. (She see the love she will never get in Westeros)

Then cut to the dragon pit where all the Lords are summon by the varys letters. A heated argument unsues in who’s going to be queen now thath cersei is dead and that Daenerys return to essos

Some said thath gendry should be king as Robert onlyson now legitimize by Daenerys Some says (like jara) thath only she will bow to Daenerys Other said (mostly northeners) thath John should be king as the rightful heir. John says he don’t want to be king anyway. They ask for Tyrion opinion about the issue and he says thath who could be king is thath of a great story and who has a better story than JOHN SNOW the bastard thath was son of rhaegar which eddard protect etc. Then some don’t agree and start the talk again then samwell says thath in the night watch they have a method of nominating and the voting for the lor commander, they agree, Tyrion says thath John should be as he could join the north and the south, then the uncle of Sansa do the same thing of the show with same results, someone maybe propose other old lord arguing experience or something, then all vote with the stones as in the night watch. And obsviously John wins. Everyone agrees and he says he don’t want it but Tyrion says to him thath it’s not thath he wants it but thath the people need him to keep peace, everyone chants his name. He tell them thar his first command it’s to make Tyrion his hand. Tyrion says he don’t want it and John answers thath he didn’t want it either but thath the people need him, he smiles and agree

As all of them are talking and laughing Tyrion game close to bran and tell him thath it was strange thath he would come to the Battle, he tell him that if he knew in advance thath John was going to be king. He look at him and says “why would you think I came all this way here”

John goes with the essos armies that stay and tell them that they could never pay the sacrifice they made saving the world and that Westeros give them the reach as there are no more tyrells. Being the most fertile and biggest plains for their horses. They could start a family and leader of their own if they want to.

Then comes the king coronation as eveyone is happy and the John kneels and take and oath to promise serve and reign with justice

"All hail His Grace, Aegon targaryan of Houses stark and Targaryan. Sixth of His Name, King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm. The resurrected, the white wolf and the black dragon. Raise. They put a silver crown with a wolf and a dragon facing each other They all kneel before John

Some time have pass and we see Sansa being lady of winter fell, and now it looks like spring, thewildlings walking in a spring north with the wall half melted, no more night watch in the castle everyone happy with tormound

We see Brianne writing jaimie story in the book as in the show, she adds thath she save the people from wild fire twice, she ends the same way saying he die protecting his queen ( as not queenslayer)

We see the small council, sitting in the chamber is John in the middle same place as eddard sitted) with ghost there, then comes Tyrion and greet him, they joke about it maybe, then comes Arya dress in full golden kings guard clothe (as she is no lady) with the dagger and needle, then brianne behind her. The comes bran Máster of whispers, then samwell in maister clothe, then bronn as Tyrion guard, maybe he jokes about how Tyrion thinked he was going to kill him but was all a lie They talk about the issues as in the show

Samwell tell about the book and said he is having trouble with the title and it seems fitting as is the song of John (ice and fire) Scene switch to the hound happily building a sept with the subjects of his house ( now thath his brother is gone he is lord of house cleganne) Then the scene switch to mereen again, camera zoom in to the pyramid and we see in the upper floor khaleesi and Dario naharis happy looking at something in a cradle, it’s a baby with white hair laughing, then Dario tells danny thath if she have tough of a name, she said she has the perfect one. Jorah targaryan first of his name, Farris laughs with a happy smile and says he did win after all. then zoom out to the pyramid and we see drogon in top of the pyramid roaring, then end credits with the opening song

By this ending we fulfill the prophecy of the prince that was promise and also the prophecy of valan qar The vision of Daenerys on the house of the undying and give fulfillment to the story of every character specially John.

[SPOILERS] Whose character’s death impacted you the most?

To me, Hodor’s. Knowing the real story of “Hodor” and seeing his death in the same episode was heartbreaking.

Also, Tommen’s, for some reason. Just didn’t expect it. 🤷🏽‍♀️

[Spoilers] How Did Bran and Sam Get Through the Wall?

Rewatching the series for the first time in years and this confuses the hell out of me. Sam obviously left with the rest of the Night’s Watch from Castle Black, going through the tunnel there to get north of the Wall. We hear Bran say in Rains of Castemere that all of the tunnels through the wall belonging to abandoned outposts were blocked up with ice and snow when the Watch stopped manning them.

And yet when Sam and Bran meet up, Bran’s crew heads through a perfectly cleared tunnel under what I believe is supposed to be the Nightfort. So the question is, how? The Nightfort has to be abandoned, otherwise why would the Watch ever let a bunch of weirdos just traipse through their tunnel? Or was Bran wrong and the tunnels aren’t blocked up, in which case how have the Wildlings not discovered this and invaded south years ago? This feels like either a scene was cut explaining things better, or else a major plothole
