Just thinking that if Arya had gone through with the plan to kill Cersei and was successful, the entire war would likely collapse with minimal bloodshed. Instead Hot Pie caused her to head home, dooming the realm to a gigantic war with an insane Cersei ready to do anything necessary to stay in power.
It's possible Arya would have heard the news anyway eventually (though, if she were closer to King's Landing, she might've taken care of business first before leaving), but it's funny to think Hot Pie was the linchpin of fate that totally changed the course of Westeros history.
