Knowing that Chuck holds resentment for Jimmy being the favourite child of their parents, especially during the episode of the last moment of Chuck and Jimmy’s mother, it pains me to see how Jimmy will never know Chuck’s perspective.
It is exactly this type of asymmetric information, or rather a situational irony that makes a show so deep. Forcing viewers to empathise with Chuck and thus the expected felicitous behaviour and the souring of relationship between the McGills.
