I think that they should do a walking dead spinoff show where each episode goes like this:
At the start they show a random Walker being killed by a random person. Then they show the life of the Walker one week before the the apocalypse begins in earnest. The whole episode is focused on this person's life and actions until he dies and become a Walker. Each week will be a different person and their vantage point of the apocalypse.
One of my favorite things during walking dead is when the gang stumble upon a random walker somewhere that you have to piece together how they came to their demise.
