[NO SPOILERS] got the book set for Christmas and having trouble taking them in and out of the box

I have not started the books yet but it seems hard to get them out and then back in

The box seems a bit push’s and shows that it’s bigger than the box

Is there a way to do it or did my set come in a smaller than normal box
