At the end of Season 3...

When Jesse has to kill Gale, do you think part of the reason he’s so broken up about it, beyond his reluctance to kill an innocent man, is based on identifying with him?

Perhaps he recognizes in that moment that they’re both pawns in a game, and that he could easily be the one on the other end of a gun one day.
