Sandpiper Settlement and the Vacuum Cleaner Repairman

We know that the disappearer charges $600k for a hot client. We know from El Camino that he won’t settle for a dollar less than his fee.

We can know Jimmy’s share of Sandpiper is $1,160,000.

We can infer that Jimmy knows the disappearer in Breaking Bad. We can infer from Jimmy’s fear of Lalo in the beginning that he’d be a hot extraction.

The Sandpiper settlement would cover one disappearance, not two.

My thought: Jimmy uses the Sandpiper money to help Kim disappear. He doesn’t have enough to go with her.

He goes into Breaking Bad likely looking to raise the money for his disappearance (he routinely tries to convince Walt to pay for his disappearance).

My guess is through circumstance, Jimmy pays to disappear Kim when they both get in over their heads. He’s stuck behind trying to raise enough for his disappearing fee. He probably loses a lot to overhead and crime. When he encounters Walt, he sees his chance to raise the $600,000 and is basically trying to work Walt for a $600,000 disappearing fee from day one. Which is why he basically keeps trying to steer Walt’s operation into the ground while protecting the money and continually pushing the disappearer option if you look at it from a certain POV.

Walt is his ticket to a new life from day one and Jimmy is running a long con to get it.
