So I am a little bit confused about Mike’s plan in this episode, where he tracks his stalkers. So once mike realizes he has trackers in both of his cars, he buys the same type of tracker in order to understand specifically how it works. He learns that the tracker is battery operated(obviously) and that the little tv screen thingy connected to it shows the location of the tracker in real time (unlike the kind Hank uses in Breaking Bad). So after he realizes that whoever is tracking him will need to come and replace the battery whenever it dies, he takes the gas cap out of his car and drains their tracker’s battery slowly with a radio to ensure that the people tracking him don’t get suspicious about a tracker with full battery suddenly shutting off. Their tracker dies, and Mike proceeds to throw it away, as he no longer needs it. He then puts his own tracker into the gas cap of his car, exactly where theirs used to be. The purpose of all this was to get the people following him to come to his car and take his own identical tracker with them. While they thought they were changing a dead battery for their own tracker, they were actually taking mike’s tracker with full battery directly to their base. But why would they need to do this?? Why wouldn’t they just change the battery on the scene if they can see his location from a distance? Unless they were done tracking him and wanted to get rid of the evidence, in which case they wouldn’t have needed to wait until the battery died. Not sure if it’s a plot hole or I am just misunderstanding something. PS: At the end after they have taken the tracker back their base, Mike takes his gas cap and leaves it at his house, and I am not sure what purpose this serves either. Since presumably there is no tracker In it (since Mike’s tracker is with the people following him, and their tracker is sitting in Mike’s trash with no batteries)
