I finally finished watching Boardwalk Empire after having it on my watchlist for years and wow I must say one of the best series of television I have ever watched. I'll admit that I found the earlier seasons to be a bit jumbled as there are so many characters but that doesn't become a problem in the later seasons (spoiler?) The cast was also amazing; Steve Buscemi, Michael Shannon, Kelly MacDonald, Michael K. Williams, and even Bobby Cannavale.
I found Bobby Cannavale's as one of the main villains in the show to be absolutely terrifying. You never knew what was going to set him off and I felt myself always holding my breath whenever he was on screen.
I especially loved the character of Richard Harrow, and he might now be one of my favourite characters in television all around. His arc felt like it had so much depth and emotion and you truly feel the emotions he feels, Jack Huston knocked it out of the park.
This isn't everything I have to say about Boardwalk Empire but I don't want a wall of text. I also wanted to know what everyone else thought about the show? No one around me has watched it yet so I wanted to see what other opinions are out there!
