[SPOILERS] Olenna’s Mistake

My friends constantly bring up the fact that Cersei’s actions killed most of her kids and that’s a huge part of her arc. The mother who tries to protect her children but loses them to her own decisions. But now that I think about it, why isn’t Olenna killing Joffrey regarded as the mistake that killed the Tyrells. As much of a sadistic shit Joffrey was, Margery could control him when even Cersei could not. And undoubtedly Joffrey has more of a spine than Tommen. Do you think if Olenna had a little more faith in her daughter, Margery could’ve controlled Joffrey to where he could’ve sent Cersei to casterly Rock or remove the faith militant if it got that far? Thus the survival and ultimately the goal of house Tyrell achieved
