Have Gamma be way younger, and have her revealed to be Winnie - the sole survivor of the group of kids that Micchone slaughters who joins Alpha because she has no one else

Have Henry's entire arc - everything with the relationship with Lydia, training with Morgan, getting piked, be Carl instead

Have Beth survive season 5, and fill the role Carl did with Negan. She "fakes" becoming one of Negans wives so she can be close to Daryl while he's prisoner, and keep him from losing hope. She ultimately takes Sashas death.

Tyrese survives much longer and replaces Jesus in the graveyard. Only it takes multiple whisperers to take him down and he takes a few out on his way. Jesus goes off with Maggie. Eventually we find the reaper base, and Jesus/Magna/Connie are revealed to be prisoners.

Daryl and Negan lure Beta into a building and cooperatively fight him like qui gon and obi wan against darth maul
