So some years back Jim Carrey did this sketch on SNL called "Secret Billionaire" (for some reason can't find it on youtube anymore). The Sketch was mostly ok and would be forgettable if it weren't for this monologue by the titular secret (and evil) billionaire:
I was bored and alone one Christmas so I rented an airplane hangar and filled it with 250 men named Dennis, and one named Brian. I watched from a 2-way glass above just to see what they would do. Would the Dennises even know?
Soon they started introducing themselves. "I'm Dennis, I'm Dennis, I'm Dennis, I'm Dennis..."
And I watched Brian very carefully.
Would he be disoriented, fully immersed in a world out of his control? A world of Dennises? Or would he become a sort of... unofficial leader?
For 10 hours they mingled, trying to make sense of it all. And I sat the whole time in wrapped attention, gently sapping on a glass of Octopus Urine.
I just think this concept is so chaotically creative, I really love it.
