Bran and Meera's final conversation was brutal, imo, and I like it because it feels raw and real, especially on Meera's part. Instead of bowing to an attitude of "Bran is the 3ER and can't be expected to care about anything besides world-altering situations now," she was hurt that Bran didn't seem to care, after everything they'd been through, that she was leaving. She reminds him "Summer died for you. Hodor died for you." I have two questions:
First, am I forgetting anything from this scene?
And second, does anyone else think it's possible that Meera remains bitter over this treatment? And even when she learns that Bran is king, and assumes that this was part of the reason she and Jojen had to risk their lives to help him, she still harbors resentment and toys with the idea of exacting some sort of (non-fatal) revenge? I could see her, of all people in Westeros, having a unique pov of Bran the Broken. I know I'll never see this on screen or in books, and that's why I think I return to the idea so often. Just wondering what others think.
