So I recently posted a slight criticism of a currently airing show in the show’s subreddit forgetting how up in their feelings fans can get. Let’s just say I got downvoted a lot. 😂
That got me thinking am I the same way with my favorite shows - unable to critique? I don’t think I am so here I go pointing out my favorite shows’ flaws…
Parks and Rec - my comfort show but Rob Lowe wasn’t a good fit (outside of the Stop. Pooping.)
Community - could dive too deeply into the meta - wasn’t a big fan of the dreamatorium scenes
Arrested Development - such sharp comedic writing but needed a little more heart and warmth for a comedy about a family
Boy Meets World - Topanga gave up too much to be with Corey
This Is Us - I loved Deja when Beth and Randall first started fostering her but as she got older she came off a little preachy and it was kind of annoying
Severance - that it takes so freaking long to film and produce seasons
Bridgerton - some of the side stories outside of the main couple are boring
So those are my criticisms of the shows I love.
