JUST A DISCLAIMER.
IM NOT TRYING TO BE NEGATIVE OR THROW HATE AT THE SHOW OR THE WALKING DEAD IN GENERAL BUT SOME MOD OVER IN r/thewalkingdead BITCHED AT ME AND TOLD ME I WAS BEING NEGATIVE SO HE TOLD ME TO POST IT OVER HERE. (I guess you're not allowed to talk about Fear in The Walking Dead subreddit? Someone explain that to me.) I LOVE THIS SHOW AND THIS COMMUNITY AND THINK THE SHOW HAS BEEN GREAT UP UNTIL THIS POINT.
Okay on with the post.
Holly Fucking Shit the way they ended that was TERRIBLE in my opinion. The second to last episode was so good then they fucked it all up. There were so many things wrong with it. 1. Victor betrayed them. 2. They fucked the thing they had going at the hotel. 3. They should've totally had a shootout at the Colonia. They shouldn't of had Nick lead them to that place just so they could all get killed. I realize this sets up the antagonist for Season 3 but what a terrible way to set it up. The way I would've ended it.
They realize they were doing wrong by throwing Travis out and they all stay. The episode should've focused on wrapping up the Colonial arc and killed most of those characters off. I think it should've ended with both sides losing. Lusitania or however the fuck you spell her name could've still gotten shot and it would've been Nick putting down guy who was Immune But Not Actually Immune (I don't remember his name because that's how much I don't care) instead of Madisyn. Then Nick and his girlfriend could've escaped and eventually found their way to the hotel. Then Season 3 could've started with the Hotel being compromised by infected and that the not so important characters killed off. Then the main crew could've eventually made their way to the border setting up the next villain.
