All the new characters confirmed for this season (S9)

Hershel Rhee (played by Peyton Lockridge) - Maggie's cute baby who first appears in 9x01.

Magna (played by Nadia Hilker) - Speculated to debut in 9x06, after second time jump. She most likely be upgraded to the main cast next season.

Yumiko (played by Eleanor Matsuura) - Speculated to debut in 9x06, after second time jump.

Luke (played by Dan Fogler) - Speculated to debut in 9x06, after second time jump.

Connie (played by Lauren Ridloff) - Speculated to debut in 9x06, after second time jump.

Kelly (played by Angel Theory) - Speculated to debut in 9x06, after second time jump.

Marco (played by Gustavo Gomez) - Long haired guy who is seen in the premier DC supply run.

Ken (played by Unknown) - Blue shirt guy seen in the premier DC supply run, where he dies.

Earl (played by John Finn) - Hilltop blacksmith, seen with his hands tied up in the trailer. If you have read 9x01 spoilers, then you know that's cause he attacked Maggie. Will he be hanged like Gregory in 9x01 or he will be forgiven?

Tammy Rose (played by Brett Butler) - Earl's wife and Ken's mom. Will she be hanged too? Or she will suffer the same fate as her comic counterpart (head on a pike). If she dies in the border, maybe her death will propel Earl to join the militia and redeem himself for his actions agaisnt Maggie.

Justin (played by Zach McGowan) - A hostile Savior, who in the trailer is seen butting heads with Daryl and being knocked over by Henry on the bridge. He and Jed most likely adapt Sherry's comic arc and be one of the primary antagonists of the first half.

Jed (played by Rhys Coiro) - A rebelious Savior, who in the trailer is seen menacing Carol several times and fghting with Aaron on the bridge. He and Justin most likely adapt Sherry's comic arc and be one of the primary antagonists of the first half. Carol is so gonna kill him.

Alpha (played by Samantha Morton) - The next brutal and lethal antagonist, she most likely debut in 9x08 as the Whisperers themselves first appear in 9x06, after the second time jump (Eugene and Rosita were filmming togehter during that time). The mid season most likely ends with her pointing a shotgun to a main head saying "Don't move": She most likley be the main antagonist for 9b and 10a.

Lydia (played by Cassady McClincy) - Alpha's big eyes daughter, who unfortunately seems to be hokking up with Henry, as opposed to Enid, but since Henry is being recasted (Matt Lintz), their scenes wont be cringier.

Beta (played by Ryan Hurst) - Second in comand of the Whisperers. Hopefully the show gives him more development and a better ending than Kirkman did in the comics.
