I just realized, Kang had managed to do exactly what the Fear reboot set out to do - but only better.

Like, Kang had managed to soft-reboot the entire franchise come season 9, but still managed to

• Acknowledge the previous seasons

• Write out not one, but TWO main characters

• Use grey and saturated filters for flashbacks

• Completely change the status quo

• Managed to draw back more viewers

• Balance AND juggle NUMEROUS characters instead of pushing them all to the sideline for numerous episodes at a time

All of these things (and more) is what the Fear reboot set out to do, except Kang is an actual compitent and rational thinking human being.
