Better Call Saul is a great show (not sure which I prefer more) but what I really like about it how it, like any good prequel actually adds to Breaking Bad (often prequels detract from the original or at least don't add anything interesting).
Like Saul goes from the one note fun lawyer to a really compelling character. Mike also gets a lot of depth and overall I'm way more invested in them than before. They have done a great job with their character arcs.
I also really like how Gus story with the Salamanca's is build up (makes the ending to that conflict more impactful) or how we got two interesting characters from a throwaway line in BrBa (Saul's introduction when he talks about Ignacio and Lalo). It all fits well together.
Honestly it will be quite the amazing experience to watch both shows in chronological order once BCS is finished.
