[No Spoilers] Am I the only one who prefers the latter seasons more than the first few?

Apart from the ending, I found almost all of the episodes in the last 2-3 seasons super thrilling (especially when I re-watched it with my siblings). I feel like the first few seasons were a bit more of a "setting the scene" type.
