I just realized Pluto TV has the original Japanese Iron Chef. I've been binging for days. So much more talent than the American version. The American version was such a let down.

Finally get to watch the real Iron Chef again. The American version just seemed so cheesey and watered down. The dishes were like "I put truffles on chicken" "Salmon with an egg on it". Japanese version they are literally inventing new dishes and techniques right before your eyes. It's not just "I took a few things and put them together and they taste good" they really showcase the chefs technical skills and creativity. The presentation is on another level and I just love the dubbing. The people really enjoyed dubbing this and put real effort into emulating the emotion of the person. If you didn't know better you'd think the people dubbing were actually there.

I just wanted to share some excitement and maybe someone out there is like me and didn't know and would love to watch again! If you've only seen the American version, go check out some real chefs working their magic.
