Krazy-8 was a DEA informant. I know this is obvious to most seeing as they literally say it out loud in the show but after reading many posts on this sub I’ve noticed not everyone understood that whole plot point. Think of the repercussions that would’ve taken place had Walt let Krazy-8 go free.
