[Spoilers] ok but WTF was season 8 (plz reply its for a project)

I was late to watch the series and i was hooked from the first episode! I ended up finishing all 8 setons in just 3 weeks.. haha.

Okay so it was nice and all, but i see the disappointment of the people now. The last season felt so rushed, as if they couldn't wait to finish it. And that frustrates me a lot! Because the story line was really good, they could've extended it out for a couple more episodes, if not another whole season. (if i missed out on anything, feel free to correct me!!)

1. Dany: -First of all, her going crazy. What was that about? She went from one of my favs to least favs real quick. She clearly had a mental twist after missandae's death, but to become a ruthless killer suddenly? It's like she became her father in a switch and there wasn't much elaboration. - Second, when she burned Varys. Was anyone else confused on how no one really gave a damn? Like yeah Tyrion felt bad or whatever but it fazed no one... like damn okay.
2. Dany & Jon: -Firstly, the fact that she's his AUNT... how did they not play more into that??? Like it was just said and then not emphasized on, like i get that it wasn't direct incest like Jamie and Cersie but like still. They could've developed it and dramatized it so much more. Second, dany's DEATH. ummmm where do i even start! It was unexpected and sudden, like yeah we knew people didn't want her anymore and didn't want her own the throne, but for Jon to kill her??? Took me by surprise for sureeee.
3. The End: i honestly didn't mind it thattt much, aside from wanting to see more episodes or for the series to be prolonged. But the finale was somewhat satisfying, it was open ended and it's up to our imagination now which is fine. Was definitely take by surprise about bran becoming King, not at all about Sansa being Queen in the north, or about Arya going off on her own.

I will definitely be rewatching the series, in a year maybe to get re-excited about it again haha. What do you guys think? What did you think of the last season and the finale? Share your thoughts with me!
