Rewatching season 5 again and thinking a lot about what will happen to Kim, and I have a theory that I think makes a lot of sense (sorry if this has been posted before):
As we see towards the end of season 5, Kim has started down the “Jimmy” path into crime, and as the final scene suggest with the gun fingers, she’s going too far. Her whole relationship with Jimmy has been a constant struggle between her two selves: career-oriented, non-risk taker who is a very smart a capable lawyer, VS love for the schemes and thrill of breaking the rules to win cases that she couldn’t win within the strict confines of the law. She is constantly conflicted between these two things, and Jimmy is the main enabler of her more adventurous side.
My guess is in S6 she is going to continue going further down this path with Jimmy. Mid-way through the season, she is going to get pregnant and realize that this life she is going down is way too risky, and in the case with the cartel, too dangerous. And even though through most of the season she’ll actually be the one pushing Jimmy to keep working with the cartel, her pregnancy will snap her out of it and decide that she has to leave Jimmy before her life gets out of control. She won’t tell Jimmy that she’s pregnant, and Jimmy will be devastated. After she leaves, much like after what happened with Chuck, Jimmy will bury himself deeper in his Saul persona to deflect even further from his past and his life as Jimmy. He becomes even sleezier and becomes the Saul Goodman we meet in Breaking bad.
Extra Bonus Prediction: In the post-BB timeline Jimmy tracks down Kim’s location, finds her and sees that she has a son that overlaps with his age. He figures out that it’s his but doesn’t interact with her bc he sees that she’s living a happy life and doesn’t want to ruin it.
