When I initially watched this show in 2015, I had this notion that the setting took place in the late 90s. As far as I could tell, nothing in the series indicated that it was more modern that, excluding maybe the prevalence of cell phones. But then in season 5 Walt says that the kids are watching Ratatouille at Hank and Marie's, and then later when talking about the train heist, he says "You wanna rob a train post-9/11?" Does anyone know the exact year the show was supposed to take place? I wasn't expecting anything later than like 2005 but obviously I'm wrong
