After Hank is killed and Jack's gang digs up the money, you can see Todd talking to his uncle while Walt lies on the ground. Jack gives Todd a pat on the cheek and then orders his guys to leave a barrel in Walt's car. This generosity always seemed kind of surprising to me, but with him telling Walt how much Todd respects him and how he would never forgive him if things had to "go another way", it makes more sense. I always assumed that line was just about Todd convincing Jack not to kill Mr. White, but I'm pretty confident that Todd requested or pleaded with his uncle to leave Walt some of his money.
If this is true, then ultimately Todd is the one who makes Walt's revenge possible. Had he not convinced Jack to leave him a couple million, Walt never would have made it into hiding, survived or been able to fund his payback.
