[Mod Raven] Calling the Banners: Open Recruitment of New Moderators

If you're checking this sub so far into the off-season, and are willing to read this wall of text, there's a fair chance you're quite committed to Game of Thrones. And sooo, you might be able to help us.

r/gameofthrones is the largest tv-show-based community on Reddit, with levels of activity on par with the major defaults during the season. Because of its size, we have quite strict moderation policies. And thus, we're looking to recruit some new moderators into the team.

Previous experience isn't essential. It's easy to teach someone how to mod. We want people who love GoT and its fandom – people who are willing to be exposed to leaks, to sacrifice their time and to deal with their fair share of trolls. In return, you get to help shape one of the biggest Thrones communities out there, and in some very small way help fans increase their enjoyment a little bit more.

We're a very relaxed and tight-knit mod team, and fairly split across genders/age, so we'll be happy to welcome you and show you the ropes.

We are using a Google Form for easy data collection, but none of your personal information is stored by the form or visible to us. You also cannot edit your application after you submit, so make sure you fill it out to your own satisfaction the first time. Please be especially sure that you spell your username correctly, as we have no way to contact you otherwise.

We don't have time to message everyone individually, so keep an eye on the STATUS below if you're wondering how we're progressing. After we've reviewed Round 1 apps, we'll send out Round 2 forms. If you haven't been sent a Round 2 form and the status below says Round 2 then we've went for other people :(
